For well over 30 years Sunshine Bike Shop has been serving the Springfield area. In 2001 Kevin Umlauf purchased Sunshine Bike and set about creating a special place. Not just a bike shop, but a place where people were welcomed and encouraged. It was the beginning of a reputation for customer service and excellence that would become known throughout the region. He pioneered concepts like free adjustments for life on every bicycle sold because he knew that Sunshine didn't sell just bicycles, they sold fun!
 All too soon Kevin was taken from us, but Kevin's mother and his twin daughters decided to keep Sunshine Bike Shop in the family. Since 2006, they have continue with Kevin's dedication and passion, pursuing his ideals for how to treat a customer fairly, but even more than that, to make them feel as a part of the Sunshine family.
Today, Kay, Jenna and Jerra, along with the staff at Sunshine Bike Shop, welcome you to their store. It's a place you'll find a helping hand, advice and encouragement, because they know, they don't just sell bicycles, they sell fun! It's the way it's supposed to be.
